Philippe Lauzier's solo music explores sounds from non-Western sources and playful extended techniques. Creating complex drones and delicate spacious moments, there is an emergence of micropolyphonies from which a certain hypnotic feel grabs the listener. With A Pond in My Living Room, He concentrates on bass clarinet with occasional preparations, also using sampling to playback and overlap sounds from the clarinet.
